Personal Contact Programme voices out residents’ problems

KAPOK, 18 November - In line with its role as a government structure in caring for the welfare of the citizens and residents in the country, the Information Department provides the "Sua Muka Programme" or also known as the "Personal Contact Programme", which is one of the programmes under the department's work strategy, which is aimed at enhancing bilateral ties between the government and the people.

The programme is a platform for conveying government policies and intentions to preserve unity in society, towards love of religion, race, monarch and country.
 

Accordingly, the programme was held at the residence of the Head of Village of Kampung Kapok, who is also the Acting Head of Village of the National Housing Development Plan Kampung Meragang, Awang Haji Merali bin Haji Ahmad.
 
The delegation from the Information Department was led by Information Officer, Head of Public Relations Unit, Awang Muhd. Khairul Hadi bin Haji Muhd. Muhtaddir, accompanied by officers and staff from various divisions and units.
 
The visit is one of the ongoing activities of the Information Department through the Public Relations Unit, State and Community Divisions in an effort to continue to foster closer collaboration in the community's affairs.

Through such programmes, it provides opportunities for villagers to voice their concerns and opinions, as well as receive updates on the government.
 
Among the issues brought up by the villagers who were present at the programme, were problems related to grass cutting and the cleanliness of the village, the safety of the population especially in the school area and others.
