Generating teamwork spirit amongst the Civic Village participants

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 14 May - A Team Building activity was organised for  the Civic Village Programme participants as to intensify their spiritual, physical and mental to prepare themselves before serving whether in private level, government or personal.


The participants comprising of 45 graduates from within and outside the country, namely Egypt, Malaysia, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, University of Technology Brunei and Religious Teacher.


The Team Building Activities conducted by Coaches of Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam, Awang Hasif and Ramle bin Awang Mohd Luqman @ Suhardy bin Kamaluddin.


The Civic Village runs for 6 days 5 nights starting today until 19 May, at the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex Hall, Mukim Sungai Kebun.


The Programme began with the Ice Breaking and followed by the obligatory Zuhur prayer and continued with the Team Building activities.


This then followed by a Maghrib prayers, the recitation of Surah Ya Sin and Ratib Al-Attas and continued with the obligatory Isyak prayers and closed with a Brain Storming engagements.


The Team Building session was held to give space to the participants to get acquainted with each other and generate teamwork spirit as well as strengthening ties amongst themselves.

 

Among the objectives of the Civic Village is to foster and cultivate the spirit of nationhood based on the national philosophy of Islamic Malay Monarchy and at the same time, as a venue for discussion in understanding the current needs in various fields for the nation growth.  


In addition, it also helps participants to explore entrepreneurial opportunities, while enabling them to gain experience as a values added through a competitive and challenging in the process of attaining employment opportunities.
