BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, May 8. - By 2035, Brunei Darussalam will be known as a nation with highly educated, highly skilled and successful citizens.
It is judged by way of measuring with the highest international standards.
The matter is outlined in the Brunei Vision 2035 briefing, which was presented by the Senior Public Relations Officer, Awang Nazdeny Ardian bin Haji Johan of the Permanent Secretariat of Brunei Vision 2035 in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in the Informative Society Programme (PMB) for Kampung Penanjong located in Mini Theater, PMO Building.
Obviously, the goal of the country is also to achieve a high quality of life for the people, while achieving a dynamic and lively economy.
In addition, he explains the visionary framework created to manage and monitor the nation's development agenda.
A total of 29 people participated in the programme consisting of the Village Consultative Council (MPK) and the residents of Kampung Penanjong, where it ended with a question and answer session.
One of the participants, Awang Ahmadbi bin Haji Othman when interviewed by PELITA BRUNEI said the briefing gave a lot of information and knowledge that could be understood.
He added that the participants can understand exactly what Vision 2035 is, as well as to know the extent of the strategies that are set and pointing to the vision.
The purpose of the programme is to improve knowledge and to further develop the government's development and efforts to improve the people's standard of living through briefings and visits.
The programme, organised by the Information Department through the PMB Committee for Kampung Penanjong for two days, is expected to strengthen its identity, while also encouraging the continous spirit to cooperate in supporting the country's aspirations.
